Heffernan Painting is an accredited contractor that adheres to the PDCA’s standards of a “Properly Painted Surface”, one which is uniform in appearance, color, texture, hiding and sheen. It’s finish is free of foreign material, lumps, skins, runs, sags, holidays, misses, or insufficient coverage. It is also a surface free of drips, spatters, spills or overspray caused by the Painting and Decorating Contractor’s workforce.

Every project Heffernan Painting performs is run by polite, english speaking foreman that communicate daily with our customers. We also hold regular office hours Monday through Friday 7am – 4pm and do our best to return calls and emails as promptly as possible if we are not in.

Because every project is unique, there is no “One product fits all” in a good paint job. However, Heffernan Painting always uses the highest quality paints, primers and repair systems available from Benjamin Moore, Sherwin Williams or equivalent manufacturers.

While color selection is objective, Heffernan Painting helps take the uncertainty out of color selection by making it a collaborative and enjoyable experience. We offer a complimentary consultation with an experienced color consultant for many contracted projects.

Heffernan Painting proposes at least two finish coats for all newly painted and primed surfaces, or whenever drastically changing color. This is the industry standard and ensures that your paint job will last longer and save you money in the long run. One finish coat is typically sufficient when re-painting with the same color.

Heffernan Painting was one of the first contractors in our area to become an EPA Lead Safe Certified Firm. As of June 10, 2010 all contractors disrupting more than 6 sq. feet of surface in homes built prior to 1978, by law are required to be lead safe certified. This means that we only HEPA dust extractors when sanding and are trained to contain and dispose of debris as required by law to protect you and your family.
